Collar Scholars at CSU is a student-run Colorado State University club founded in 2016 that helps raise puppies to become skilled assistance dogs for Canine Companions® through their Puppy Raising Program. Our club members help each other with puppy raising, training, and help with puppy sitting needs so that we can better serve the mission of Canine Companions®.

We hope to educate and bring awareness to the general public as well as our fellow college students about the impact of service dogs and service dog etiquette.

Canine Companions® is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships completely free of charge through the support of volunteers, donors, and the community.
